AACA TO HOST OPELIKA ARTIST
The Artists Association of Central Alabama (AACA) will gather for its monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 22, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Senior Center, 2054 Sportplex Blvd, Alexander City, AL, 35010.
Speaking to AACA this month will be fantasy and surrealist artist Raymond VanTilburg. Ray is a successful, self-taught artist. Ray will share his approach to color, the tools he uses, and how he progresses through multiple sketches from original concept to finished piece, as well as answering questions from members.
AACA is for everyone who loves art and creating beauty, no matter your medium or craft. Not a member? No problem—membership is only $20.00 for one year. Join us on May 22 and become a member to learn from and network with other artists. AACA activities include workshops, demonstrations in many genres, an annual month-long museum display, and inspiring field trips. If you have questions call June Dean at 334-313-7533 . Or, you can email June at junedeansart@gmail.com.
See you on May 22!
